Dear Friends & Neighbors, Lions & Lionesses
A friend of many horse owners & trainers needs you help.
Donations are starting to come in , but we need your help and please help get the word as well.
. Many of you know a member of our community, Jim Hallworth, who came with his family from New Hampshire to the Shelbyville area nearly 30 years ago and made his home on the Lewisburg highway. His love for horses led him to a career of providing transportation for horses to shows, breeding facilities, new homes, and often to the hospital of a university.
This kind,
gentle man is a friend to many in the horse business in Middle Tennessee.
This spring Jim had the misfortune to have lost a foot because of gangrene.
After a couple of setbacks, his leg has healed and he is ready for
prosthesis. Since he is no longer able to work, the cost of the prosthesis
which is about $8000. This is more than he can handle and without insurance,
he needs your help.
Any donation that you could make would be greatly appreciated. We have a
Benefit fund setup at First Bank- Shelbyville. Please send or drop off all
donations at:
First
Bank of Shelbyville, 508 Madison St, Shelbyville, TN 37160 to:
The Jim Hallworth Fund.
If you wish to be recognized on our donor list, when making a donation, please tell the teller to include you name & address when they fill out the deposit slip for your donation or if you mail your donation.
